During the strike today KFRS attended an RTC in Green Lane, Egerton where a van was on its side. Hydraulic rescue equipment was used to release a man who was trapped inside. He was passed to the care of SECAmb.
We also released a child whose leg was caught in a cot in Tunbridge Wells, while other calls included an outdoor fire in Folkestone and a number of automatic fire alarms.
KFRS is urging people to take extra care on the roads tonight, check your smoke alarm and unplug any unnecessary electrical items before you go to bed.  The strike ends at 7am on 26 February.
