Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Crews tackle M20 car fire near Wrotham Heath
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a car alight on the London-bound carriageway of the M20, just before Junction 3 for the M26. 
 
Two fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames. 
 
It's believed the fire, which completely destroyed the vehicle, started in the engine. 
 
No casualties were reported.
