Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Bungalow fire in Herne Bay
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a bungalow fire in Sunbeam Avenue, Herne Bay. 
 
Three fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames. 
 
On arrival, firefighters found one person was already out of the property and was passed into the care of SECAmb. 
 
The cause of the blaze is being investigated.
