Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Cooking oil fire at take away food seller - Rainham
Incident details
Firefighters were called to reports of a fire in a deep fat fryer at a take away food seller in High Street, Rainham. 
 
Crews used a dry powder extinguisher to put the flames out. There are no reports of any injuries and the cause has not yet been established.
