Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Vehicle fire in Gillingham
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a motorhome alight on College Avenue in Gillingham. Two fire engines attended the incident and crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze. A second vehicle nearby also suffered heat damage from the fire. No casualties were reported and the cause is believed to be deliberate.
