Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Storage unit fire in Ramsgate
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a storage unit alight in Newington Road, Ramsgate. 
 
Three fire engines attended and crews used hose reel jets and foam to extinguish the fire, which began in the roof of the outbuilding. 
 
No casualties were reported. 
 
The cause of the incident is not known.
