Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Fire at Dartford Heath
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to an area of undergrowth alight at Dartford Heath. 
 
Two fire engines were sent to the scene and crews used fire beaters, flexi packs and a fogging unit to extinguish the flames, which spread to an area of around 60 square metres. 
 
No casualties were reported. 
 
The cause is believed to be deliberate.
