Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Vehicle fire off Lord Lees Roundabout, Chatham
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of vehicle alight near the Lord Lees Roundabout, off the A229 Blue Bell Hill, Chatham. 
 
Two fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames. 
 
No casualties were reported. It’s believed the fire started accidentally.
