Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Car and lorry crash on A249 - Sittingbourne
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a road crash between a car and a lorry on the A249 near Bobbing. Crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to help release a trapped man. The man was placed in the care of paramedics. Crews made the scene safe.
