Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Teen rescued from cliff ledge
Incident details
Firefighters were called to rescue a teenage girl who had become stuck on a concrete ledge on a cliff face near the prominade at Dumpton Gap Road, Broadstairs. Crews led the 14-year-old girl to safety via a 7 metre ladder and she was passed to the care of ambulance technicians for precautionary checks.
