Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Crews called to a chip pan fire in Sheppey
Incident details
Fire crews were called to a house in Main Road, Sheppey, following a chip pan fire, The fire was out when crews arrived but the property was smoke logged. Crews in breathing apparatus ventilated the building. A woman was assessed by ambulance crews, but was not taken to hospital.
