Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Three boys treated for smoke inhalation after kitchen fire - Strood
Incident details
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled a blaze in the first floor kitchen of a property on Albatross Avenue, Strood. 
 
Three male children believed to be under five years old were treated at the scene by paramedics for slight effects of breathing in smoke, but did not require hospital treatment. 
 
There are no other reported injuries and the cause is currently not known.
