Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Crews tackled house fire in Shadoxhurst
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire in a property on Hornash Lane in Shadoxhurst. Four fire engines were sent to the incident. Crews arrived to find a weatherboarded property that is under development well alight with several seats of fire. Firefighters used hose reel jets and main jets to extinguish the fire. There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is yet to be established. An investigation will take place.
