Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Derelict building fire - Dover
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a large derelict building fire on Coombe Valley Road, Dover. Multiple crews wearing breathing apparatus used main jets to tackle the fire on the ground floor. Crews also used positive pressure ventilation fans to ventilate the building.
