Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Outbuilding fire in Southfleet
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to an outbuilding alight at commercial premises in Station Road, Southfleet. 
 
Four fire engines attended and crews wore breathing apparatus while using hosereel jets to extinguish the blaze, which damaged an outbuilding and two storage containers. 
 
No casualties were reported. 
 
The cause is believed to be accidental.
