Eynsford flat fire
Incident details
Firefighters have extinguished a fire in a first floor flat this morning. It is thought to have started accidentally after heat from an open fire spread to floor joists beneath the fire place.

Crews spent time cutting away the floor along the wall of the fire place and used a hose reel to extinguish the fire. Almost a quarter of the first floor living room was damaged by fire.
