Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Broadstairs house fire
Incident details
UPDATE 10.10am Fire crews are accessing the roof via ladders and are cutting away and damping down at the five bedroomed house. They are likely to remain at the property for about an hour. 
 
Firefighters are at the scene of a house fire in Beacon Road. The fire is believed to have started in a ground floor lounge of the two storey house. Crews wearing breathing apparatus are using a hose reel, main jet and hydrant to tackle the blaze. Two women are being treated for smoke inhalation at the scene by paramedics.
