Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Kitchen fire - Hextable
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a kitchen fire on Claremont Road, Hextable. Crews used breathing apparatus and hose reel to tackle the fire, along with a positive pressure ventilation fan to ventilate the property and a thermal imaging camera to check for any remaining hot spots.  A 55 year old female was removed by the ambulance service to hospital suffering burns to her hands, face and back.
