Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Petrol tanker fire - M25
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called along with Surrey Fire and Rescue to a petrol tanker well alight on the clacket lane services slip road. Crews used hose reel jets and breathing apparatus to tackle the fire which was isolated to cab of the tanker. The fuel load was unaffected by the fire. Crews used water spray to cool the fuel load.
