Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Goudhurst road crash
Incident details
Fire crews were called to a road crash in Lurkins Rise, Goudhurst involving a van and a car. One woman was already out of a vehicle and a man was trapped by his injuries. Firefighters stabilised the vehicle, while he was assessed by ambulance crews and removed using a spinal longboard.
