Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Pavilion fire in Hersden
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a pavilion fire on The Avenue in Hersden, near Canterbury. At its height, four fire engines were sent to the scene and crews used main jets and water from a hydrant to extinguish the blaze, which before damping down any remaining hot spots. No casualties were reported.
