Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Shed and fence fire in Margate
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire in a garden on Victoria Avenue in Margate. Three fire engines were sent to the scene and crews arrived to find a garden shed and fence well alight. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze. The cause is believed to be accidental.
