Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Vehicle crash in Ightham
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a three-vehicle crash on Ismays Road in Ightham, near Sevenoaks. Three fire engines were sent to the scene, and crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove a car door and release one person from a vehicle, who was then passed into the care of South East Coast Ambulance paramedics.
