Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Fire at commercial premises in Tunbridge Wells
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire at a commercial premises in Grosvenor Road, Tunbridge Wells. 
 
Three fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets and main jets to extinguish the flames, before using a high pressured fan to clear the building of smoke. 
 
Four flats above the property were evacuated as a precaution. 
 
No casualties were reported and all residents were able to return to their homes. 
 
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
