Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Flat fire in Chatham
Incident details
Firefighters were called to a fire at a flat in Wealden Court, Chatham. Crews wearing breathing apparatus are using a hose reel jet, a covering jet and a positive pressure ventilation fan to tackle the blaze. All occupants have been accounted for and there are no reported casualties. The cause of the fire is not yet known and is under investigation.
