Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

School fire - Isle of Grain
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a significantly sized fire at a primary school on the Isle of Grain. Eight appliances were mobilised to the scene and crews used hose reel jets, breathing apparatus and positive pressure ventilation fans to tackle the fire. They also used the compressed air foam system to prevent the fire from spreading. A fire investigation into the cause is underway.
