Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Garage fire in Gravesend
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a garage alight on Sole Street in Gravesend. Three fire engines were in attendance, and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets, main jets and water from a hydrant to extinguish the blaze. The fire also affected a nearby vehicle and shed. No casualties were reported and the cause is believed to be accidental.
