Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Farm buildings alight

Crews are now turning over and damping down the area One hose reel jet is still in use. 
UPDATE: 13:55 
Members of the public are being advised to avoid the roads in the vicinity of Pye Corner, Ulcombe, while firefighters deal with a large fire in the area. 
Eight fire engines are at the scene of the blaze involving a large workshop approximately 50 square metres in size. 
Crews are tackling the fire using main jets, hose reel jets, compress air foam fire-fighting system and water from a hydrant. 
Residents who are affected by the smoke in the area are advised to remain indoors with the windows closed, as a precaution. 
The are no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is not known. 
Firefighters are currently dealing with a fire in a range of farm buildings in Pye Corner, Ulcombe. Local residents are being advised to keep windows and doors closed as a precaution.
