Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Crews tackle heath fire in Dartford
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a grass fire in Heath Lane, Dartford. Crews used flexi packs and beaters to contain the fire and worked hard to bring it under control. An area of 5 acres, or the size of 3 football pitches, was destroyed by fire.
