Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a wildfire in a field by Hawthorn Corner in Herne Bay.

Four fire engines and a Utility Terrain Vehicle attended, and crews used wildfire gear and farming machinery to extinguish the fire.

There are no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known.
