This summary of financial accounts shows where Kent and Medway Fire and Rescue Authority (the authority) spent its money in the financial year 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2021.

It also gives an overview of its financial position at the end of March 2021.

What we do

Kent Fire and Rescue Service is controlled and run by the authority. We fight fires, deal with emergencies ranging from road crashes to chemical spillages, and support the ambulance service. Our preventative work helps the public to stay safe. We provide many services including home fire safety visits, road safety advice to schools and colleges, and advice and support to local businesses.
