Management structure

Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) is led by a team of four people: the chief executive, and three directors.

Ann Millington

Kent Fire and Rescue Service is led by our chief executive, Ann Millington. Ann has responsibility for all functions of our work.

She works closely with elected members of Kent and Medway Fire and Rescue Authority (KMFRA) to ensure we are well run and giving our customers cost-effective services in line with our aims, objectives and values. Ann manages the corporate management board, which is made up of the chief executive, directors and assistant directors.

Alison leads the Corporate Services functions at Kent Fire and Rescue Service, who support our teams to save lives and keep people safe.

Chris Colgan

Chris leads our day-to-day operational response at Kent Fire and Rescue Service, ensuring we are there for our customers in times of need - whether it’s a fire, a road crash or a water rescue.

Jon Quinn

Jon leads our engagement with customers to create a safer future for Kent and Medway, through visiting people in their homes, where they work and in places of education to help keep them safe – whoever they are. Jon is also the organisational lead for safeguarding.
